6 harsh truths that will make you a better person

Sometimes motivation appears in the strangest places. I have never been a ‘drop and give me fifty’ kind of girl. I like to be told about my flaws in a gentle way, preferably by a therapist who I have paid lots of money to.

When I read Cracked.com’s 6 harsh truths that will make you a better person earlier this week, I recognised some of my own deluded thoughts.

What’s that? You’re all ears?

So, friends, as we go into the self-reflective vortex of the holiday season, I suggest you read this before you go into the fray. At worst, it will make you laugh. At best, it will give you kick up the a*s in preparation for a blazing start to 2013.

This is my last post for 2012. Thank you so much for reading, sharing and being some of the smartest, funniest, coolest people I know.

Wishing you a safe, happy, sexy break where you get to spend lots of time licking delicious things.

Love you longtime,

Em x

    Nice read that.

cut and paste for the lazy………

Are you smart? Funny? Interesting? Talented? Ambitious? Creative?

I want you to purely focus on giving yourself a skill that would make you ever so slightly more interesting and valuable to other people. Take a class in karate, or ballroom dancing, or pottery. Learn to bake. Build a birdhouse. Learn massage. Learn a programming language. Film a porno. Adopt a superhero persona and fight crime. Start a YouTube vlog.
    ……..

I now have questions about when not to give away the knowledge for free?
