Sydney Harbour Bridge

*Moving back to Sydney

This is one of those practical posts designed to alert you all to the fact I am *see subject line.

Sydney Harbour Bridge
Can you see me waving to you from Opera Bar? I’m drinking an overpriced glass of sparkling white wine – want some?

I have loved my time in the country. I’ve had a blast growing veggies, mothering chickens and kicking my heels up at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. I’ve made some rad friends, spent time with my family and satisfied my yearning for a (mostly) fallow social season.

I’ve tried to meet guys and failed. The whole Farmer Wants a Wife thing is a complete myth. All the good ones are married with tribes of rosy-cheeked brats and the ones that are left? There’s a reason for that (ie they’re old, crazy or related to the Milats).

I’d harboured fantasies of becoming a Labrador-owning, Range Rover driving Agriculture woman who looked pretty hot in RM Williams.

Sadly, that is just not me. I am an Inner Westie. I like Champagne and tattoos and left wing politics. I have nothing in common with people that shoot things for fun.

So, if you know anyone who wants to hire a Tourism PR with a big mouth, big ideas and big dreams, you know where I am.

Thank you Tamworth!

  1. You do look great in RM Williams and can rock them back here! There is a community garden crying out for your lovin! And more… much more here for the taking! Can’t wait to have you back in the city!

  2. wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot?

  3. Yay!!! I for one will be glad to have you back in the bug smoke, but I hope you feel recharged and refreshed from your time in the country. And hey if you want a fellow country girl to rock out a flanno and a pair of boots, just let me know and I’ll join you.

  4. I wouldn’t say you “failed” at meeting guys. You didn’t meet the *right* one, but “fail” is a pretty harsh word, lady!

  5. Well done gorgeous! You gave it a good crack

Shame I didn’t come out to visit you there!

Have to do a champers next time I’m in SYDNEY (end of the month 😉 )

  6. You’re coming back to Sydney? Woo hoo! That’s great news! I’ll keep an eye out for jobs, but you won’t need any help I’m sure:) Yay again!

  7. Life is about trying things on and finding what works for you. Best wishes ++ for the new adventure! And if it doesn’t work out, there is always Canberra x
