Turkey is a holiday destination of choice for those in search of a warmer climate, interesting culture, fabulous beaches and a real break from the norms of daily life. There are so many great places to go that choosing just one can be difficult. One destination that is growing in popularity is Dalaman. Holidays to Dalaman are a fantastic way to get a real taste of Turkey and all it has to offer.

Damalan is on the southern Aegean coast of Turkey to the west of Antalya. Located on the coast, Dalaman has loads of beaches and you can easily jump on a boat and take a trip to the Greek island of Rhodes, combining two countries into one getaway. A boat ride will also take you to Butterfly Beach in Olu Deniz, a beautiful and mostly deserted paradise.

If you love to explore, head to Fethiye to jump on the twelve island cruise, which will take you on a tour of the islands surrounding the coast. There is some stunning scenery here so remember to take your camera.

Those that prefer to keep their feet on dry land and get their kicks from haggling instead should visit the market in Icmeler. Here you can find jewellery, clothing and keepsakes, but remember never to accept the first price as the Turkish are experts at bartering.
