Tipster Tuesday: Thailand and Vietnam
Guess who’s going to Thailand and Vietnam in two weeks’ time?
Uh, that would be me.
The utterly delightful people at Thai Airways are sending me on a little adventure. To say I am excited would be like saying the Dalai Lama is a good bloke. I am beside myself.
I am travelling from 3rd – 14th August and am visiting Bangkok and Hanoi and lots of places nearby.
Because I get to gallivant willy nilly while I am there, I was just wondering if there’s anything you recommend? Anything you’re curious about? Anything you want me to go and try for you? I am a very willing guinea pig … hell, I will even eat a guinea pig!
What are you favourite things to do in Thailand and Vietnam?
Park yourself in Chatuchack for three days x
I am insanely jealous. Green in fact.
One tip – watch what food and drinks you consume. Unfortunately I had a rather unpleasant upset stomach for two days during my stay in Phuket. I’m not saying I wasn’t partially to blame with some alcohol consumption, but I know there was something in the mix that my body really wasn’t happy about.
But other than that have an awesome time.
Hi Emma, lucky you! I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time.
I’ve just emailed you with regards to your trip – hope to hear from you soon.
Emma – I plan to head to Vietnam early next year and keen to kayak the limestone caves in Halong Bay so would you LOVE you to check this out.You can do a 3 day trip (which you wont have time for) and kayak through the day and sleep on a junk at night. Also keen for a few tips on where to stay in Halong Bay pre and post the trip. I’ve heard the town is a bit seedy! Maybe you will run into someone whose done htis.
Please come visit us in Phuket. There is so much to discover here, other than Patong’s nightlife, it also has a rich heritage and many national parks. you won’t regret it.
