What money really can’t buy

In the world of travel, there’s a lot of talk about ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.

This is flawed logic because the whole point of travel marketing is that they are selling you something; click on this link, book this airfare, buy this deal.

What money can’t buy is this: a chance to walk the Camino while your knees are still up to it. A chance to live in London while you’re still young enough to enjoy it. A chance to visit Syria, or Afghanistan, or Iraq before the wars destroy everything (it’s too late now).

My point is that what money can’t buy is time. You can’t get it back. If there’s something you want to do, make a plan to do it today.
